Dez visited Bernice a couple months back. She Shirley surely knows him from there. Is her memory gone completely down the Memory Hole. Who knew that Stef had such manly hands. Probably built up all those muscles in the Privacy Hut.

Am I imagining things, or is Bets drawn a little more anatomically correct than pretty much any other girl in this comic?

Any responsible person who finds a loose dog in good condition would contact the local animal shelter to see if someone has lost a dog.

“No dorm pets??” Well how come Sun was able to keep a pet ferret in the dorm while she was at Mooney U? And furthermore, kept it in the dorm room Dez and Bernice once shared? (Yeah, Yeah, I know. Sun sneaked the ferret in against dorm rules. Funny that “Law and order Bernice” didn’t report it)

And don’t put dorm pets on social media? But non sanctioned dormitory Blackout Parties are okay?

The good news is, Stef will be the Villian here. The bad news is Dez and Bets are “enabling” her.

And someone had better let Tiff know that there’s a dog hidden in the room, lest she freaks and spills the beans.

Stef has been the logical choice since Frank saw her driving with Puddles.

I’m assuming that in this world, less than 15 people exist?

If Dez can figure out that Puddles belong to Luann, she’s not as dumb as the other two

Puddles is smiling in the last panel, and appears to be happy to be there. Either he has amnesia, or he has a very thin allegiance to his owner.

In the real world he’d be history. But in Luann’s world the population count is MUCH smaller. ;-)

So, Tiff has Kip as a part-tine roommate and now contraband dog. Is this going to be the straw that broke the camels back?

Sounds like Dez ate one of those brownies…

They’re going to keep a dog hidden in a dorm room, and never walk it. Okay, that will work until the first time it has to poop. Then they can draw straws to decide who cleans it up. That room is going to get to smelling baaaaad.

Perhaps Steff will be caught with Puddles and kicked out of the dorm. Can we hope. Puds chip gets scanned – or someone who knows him rescues him and he is returned home. By Saturday please. No long term Puds drama!

Am I the only one who thinks that Steff is cross-eyed…especially in the first panel?

It looked like a large person who took Puddles. I thought it may have been Dez once I saw he was at Mooney, but the voice was Stef. I thought Stef was adoring Puddles but she didn’t really have him. Now I think it will be Gunther who will rescue Puddles. He knows the dog all too well, even saving him from running into the street.

Well girls you forgot you gotta take him outside for potty. Doubt he’s pad-trained since he lives in a house with a yard And who’ll buy dog food and remember to feed him…or overfeed him due to miscommunication?

The secret life of Puddles will return next week! Will Puddles live a pampered life?

Am I the only one who’s annoyed at seeing Steff’s teeth constantly on display?

None of these three can stop to think someone might own that dog? Granted two are the two most annoying characters in all of comics, but

Those two “It’s All About MEEEEE” twins have an absolute talent for getting on one’s nerves. I really hope Dez becomes the hero here, and gets Puddles home where he belongs.

Now that someone mentioned it, Stef in the first panel looks al awfully like the people exposed to Joker Gas in the Batman comics. Ricus grin, with bulging eyes that don’t look anywhere.

Kudos to those who called Steff.

I knew Frank did NOT have the dog. That would have been completely out of character for him. About a third of the commenters seemed to think Frank would do something so cruel to his daughter. That reminds me of when a lot of commenters thought Tiffany would move into the DeGroots spare room, even thought Luann and Tiffany did not like each other. That made no sense either and I knew that would never happen.

When her memory returns, I hope Dez will do the right thing and contact Luann.

Or maybe Tiffany will—no, wait! With Stef so preoccupied with Puddles, that’ll clear the field for Tiff and Kip!!

Think about that, G&K.

Puddles is OK, but with Stef! Unfortunately, Dez don’t remember that he’s a member of the Degroot family, even if Luann certainly told her a lot about him. Now the question is, who will be the first to recognize Puddles between Tiffany and Gunther? I think Tiffany has more chances, she’s Stef’s roommate and I would really like to see her help Luann. They would get closer and this could be good for Luann, now that Tiffany has become someone kinder and with a serious career goal to achieve through studies. Definitely better than always being only with the corrosive Bernice.

Stef has Puddles! Hopefully, Tiffany will arrive, recognize him and take him back to Luann.

It could have turned out worse for Puddles. Once Tiff shows up, the truth will come out.

Wow, I hope Gunther finds out that Bets didn’t want to try find the owner & keep Puddles for themselves. Puddles is clearly taken care of & has a home. Such a horrible thing to do.

Of course Yorkie Girl would be the one to find Puddles.

Well, I’ll eat my crow, it wasn’t the DeGroot parents after all. Which does make me wonder why they seemed so blase about Puddles in a car with a stranger, unless they recognized Stef.

They’ll get caught with the dog and will be put on double secret probation. Tiffany will be so mad she’ll move into Delta sorority. They’ll call her Flounder.

I’ve commented earlier this is such an odd arc for GnK. But consider: Tiffany wants Steph’s boyfriend, Kip; dogs are not allowed in the dorm; Tiffany knows Puddles; it seems she has leverage to get Steph kicked out of the dorm. Terrible plot.

Does Frank even know who Steff is? Or is this just a comic, forget it?

All is right in the Luannverse again.

Okay so the sense of the forum was correct but two points exist waiting to be answered: where is Tiffany? And where does this inevitably lead? I have an off-the-wall idea—Luann comes to the dorm to get Pud, after Tiffany ID’s him she meets Stef for the first time, while Kip shows up. I’ll leave it at that for now.

Enter Bernice.

If Dez remembers in first panel, and calls Luann in second panel, Luann could pick him up in third panel and close-up hug in fourth panel. That’s a wrap, and new arc on Monday!

Soylent Green is Puddles!

Uhh, it’s going to be a very short lived secret when Tiff shows up at the dorm. I believe she knows Puddles and if not, she won’t be able to keep her mouth shut.

Would Tiffany recognize Puddles? And my gosh, just how little is the Luniverse? Not someone new grabbed little Pud … it was our own obnoxious I can only wear a cheer outfit Stef! Can she be any more annoying. Does she ever plan on taking him to a vet for a health checkup or vaccination cause the first thing they will do is see if he is chipped.

Three college students and not one of them thought they should get him checked for a chip. smh

Finally a happy ending I think

Does this mean that Stef’s new nickname is Man Hands? Because that wasn’t a 20-year-old woman who grabbed Puddles the other day.

So next week they’ll show these ignorant GenX college students arguing about whether or not they should steal someone’s dog. Oh wait, they already decided to steal someone else’s dog. What a stupid story.

This has the potential for Real Ugly Real Fast. Especially if Gunthie sees Pud before anyone else.

This last couple weeks story line is very sad. Is this the best what’s-his-name could come up with??? He’s getting old and got writers block!

Too bad Gunther doesn’t walk in right about now. Wonder what he would think/do when he found out his beloved Bets is a willing party to dog theft?

And yes, it IS theft! Not a single one of these idiots has even considered that the dog might have an owner, and tried to track them down. As I said yesterday, Puddles does not look like a starving stray.

I hate this arc. Mainly because it seems that all the characters are being incredibly dumb. Maybe it just me and I have no patience…

Bets psychic abilities are quite profound.

This arc certainly lets everyone know what kind of morals Greg and Karen Evans have – none.

Poor Puddles. He doesn’t know what he’s in for.

So if Tiffany is the one who identifies Puddles as belonging to Luann, what will happen?

Brainless, selfish, Stef will not want to give up “her” dog.

Does Tiff then do the right thing and get Puddles back to Luann, even if it means sneaking Puddles out while Stef is at cheer practice or something, or will Tiff use the fact that Stef is hiding a dog in her dorm room to blackmail Stef into better behavior?

This might have been a fate worse than death for the dog.

If Bets is posting, Gunther will see it. Gunther knows Puddles.

So does this end quickly or does Steff bring the dog to a shelter…?

Only three more weeks until we move on to something else!

Since there are only about 10 actual recognizable people in Pitts it was inevitable that Puddles would wind up with someone we knew. It’s a Rod Serling kind of town.

Now I know the resolution of the plot! Tiffany knows Luann! That means she knows Puddles! Therefore, Tiffany will return Puddles to Luann when she sees him!

He may be undetected in the dorm room, but what happens when he needs to go out? And roomie Tiffany knows Puddles, as does Gunther if he dares show up again in that room! ;-))

I just hope Luann has the opportunity to knock her teeth out. From both of her faces.

With her that poor dog is going to see things that’s going to make him go blind,

Stef was driving and picked up this pooch, Puddles. In panel 1, each of the three girls demonstrates her essential character.

Will Dez finally attain Enlightenment and remember who Puddles is, and to whom he belongs? Or must we tediously await some other agent of Discovery?

That’s a good look for Steff in the first panel- stupid grin and crossed eyes. But why is she holding Puddles mouth in the second panel? Seems to me to be a good way to drop him.

Please have Stef leave the planet.
