I remember in Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, when Ford and others were first on board the Vogon spaceship, how every hatch they opened sounded just like the flushing of the loo…

With each installment this week, I’ve been hearing that sound…

    Over and over and over…

More personal confessions: Thinking about the mouse, Holly, and Wally, followed by Kirby – having been married before, the story of Holly, Wally, and Kirby – is just too close to events in my own life.

So, if Wally rejects Kirby, I really don’t think I could continue to watch this strip.

    Hoping Aaron doesn’t go there…

Hoping the arc isn’t going to be:

Cracked Wally has no memory of Kirby. Even more: Cracked Wally rejects Kirby.

While there are plausible reasons to follow that story line, if Aaron goes there, I think that would be the end of me following it.

On a very personal note, my wife passed away just over a year ago. Fourth panel above kind of rips my heart out.

That said, thank goodness we see Kirby and Chic once again.

„Only a few hours gone and it feels like years“

Well, it HAS been years! Anyone got the date that this arc started?

Until last year, Go Comics had strips going back to 1985. I may have copied a few of them; I’ll have to check.

But in that time, there were still newspapers, and that is where I first saw Prickly City.

Go Comics may have deleted the original comics, but this strip was around since at least 1985. However, Kevin, then known as the “lost bunny of the apocalypse,” came along much later, as you indicated.

Was he ever Bill Clinton? Probably not. But I do think that he’s used as a generic Democrat or anybody else not aligned with current Republican (or Scott’s) political values.

Some criminals look like former presidents.

And for those of the other persuasion, some criminals think they’re still president.
