There is always a emergency fund or the unexpected, like a bridge collapsing. Or alternately they could fill the holes on 10th street by leaving the potholes on 2nd avenue unfilled.
Age-ing up the kids to college was overall a bad decision. The plan was to build a new cast with Bernice as the lead. That’s why Delta was sent of to a HBCU, Rosa to Peru, Luann to Jr, College and Crystal forgotten, But Bernice wasn’t an interesting character and there was no reason (now) for all the characters to interact. Even bringing Luann. Jack and Nil to Mooney isn’t going to change anything because there have years of time to do something interesting with the college setting and all they’ve ever come up with is Stefini and Batubs.
They are so fixated on Luann I wonder if they will go back and try to rebrand her again. Sort of the way this plot has been circling the drain for six weeks.
The two weeks with Luann weren’t so bad because she was pushing back on their insanity with common sense and an appreciation of self. But now it’s just the two of them and the stupidity knows no bounds.
