    Good morning™, all!

Wow, he had a favourite children’s book? It’s an actual comic book that was published in 1989, by the way, featuring an anthropomorphic title character, as in Mike Curtis’s specialty. I guess the clues were only in Scardol’s copy?

Scardol was afraid he’d forget where he hid his loot, so he put clues to the location in his favorite children’s book. Then he forgot where he hid the book. If The Brain is at one end of the intelligence scale of Tracy villains, Scardol is at the other end.

Good morning™, Little Trains That Could !

Is that book a rarity that makes it cost so much ?  I am going on the premise that either it is rare and the seller does not know about the ‘secret prize’ contained within or that ‘they’ know but are not interested or able to work out the clues.

Strange. The more I look at this Scardol face, the more he reminds me of the Predator.

    IT’S A SCAM!

I got thinking, how would Croptop know this, unless hundreds of other people also knew it? And, if hundreds of other people know it the book will not be for sale, the owner will be using it him / herself to get the loot. (And, the fact you need to rob a bank and have investors go in with you to have enough money to buy the book shows the owner knows it is supposed to reveal the location of a treasure.)

So, the book is a fake. Art Dekko may be mysteriously out of prison again and pulling another forgery. Only rather than an elaborate art forgery that was obviously fake he’s trying something more modern. By a used children’s book at a thrift store for 50₵, scrawl something in the margin of a page and start the bogus story circulating, “Hey, did you hear the one about Scardahl?” and wait for someone dumb enough to fall for the gag.

Was anybody peeing their pants waiting for Scardol’s return or the knowledge that he was a Furry? Show of hands… (Mumbles, we already knew about you).

Hmm, does Galen the Saintly know the old Get Smart villain Simon the Likable (Jack Gilford)?

1-CRAPPIETOP: Double Ugly wrote children’s books in addition to being a bank robber…and to being ugly…

2-…He used his left hand even though he was really right handed so the people he drew…

3-…ended up looking really weird! And the acid he took before writing and drawing caused him to put wings on the people which allowed them to fly around! His books were wildly popular in the Haight in the 60’s – sort of like MC Escher books were with potheads everywhere. Anyway, I find that fascinating. Don’t you think that’s fascinating? No? Not even a little bit? No…? Never mind.

I remember in Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, when Ford and others were first on board the Vogon spaceship, how every hatch they opened sounded just like the flushing of the loo…

With each installment this week, I’ve been hearing that sound…

    Over and over and over…

How does the book cost enough to have to rob a bank over when the thing that would make it that valuable would be knowledge of the clues it contains… which would be perhaps 4 times as valuable. I don’t think Mike thought this through.

Maybe Mike has a special reason why he chose a character that’s an angel. I think I know why, but I’ll wait and let the story play out.

Compared to Scardol, Edward G>Robinson was a beauty contest winner. Now I know where the phrase “ya mug” came from
