Reality rarely reaches our ideal, so stop wishing and deal with it.

There are a lot of “anyone but trump” people but most of the anti-Biden folks WANT trump, not just anyone else. The None of the above either have to go one way or the other or watch as they help trump take over and become the dictator he SO wants to be.

I didn’t want either, such poor choices. I’ll be voting against the current policies that have encouraged an invasion of millions and millions of illegals into the country.

This year, the choice is binary. You could write in a pick or go with a third party if they make it on the ballot. However, you might as well stay home and save the gas from driving to the polls. I suggest you vote for President Biden. Because when it comes right down to it, President Biden actually cares about the country. All Trump cares about is Trump.

Modern media has turned both men into ogres. They aren’t. I suggest they are both normal and typical presidential candidates (other than age) with extremely different political agendas.

Can a representative democratic republic survive with mostly exclusive, closed, [moderate eliminating] primaries … and no means for the electorate to reject all candidates on a ballot even if none are qualified/fit to represent the electorate’s needs?

Where can I get those buttons?

Cut the middle men and vote Putin. Or do yourselves a favor and vote Xi Jinping.

Consider where the US was 4 years ago (really, do the research) and compare it to now. Not a hard choice if.. you look at facts and not listen to BS

My God, liberals just don’t get it!

We’re not voting for Trump because we think he’s Albert Einstein. You don’t have to be Al to see that he isn’t. We’re voting for him because we see that his heart is with this country and with our future well-being. And this isn’t a supposition, it’s based on four years of actual performance, during which we got “Remain in Mexico” and not “Send us your Islamic terrorists, your military-aged Chinese youth, and your wretched refuse gang members”!

To see where Old Slo Joe’s heart lies, on the other hand, look no further than his son. After begging the world for a public hearing with Congress, he got it. And what did he do when it was show time? He stayed home and read comic books. That apple didn’t fall very far from the tree.

But it all stops on Novermber 5. Doesn’t it, liberals?

We had our primary on Tuesday. My wife and I voted for one of the candidates that are still on the ballot, but have suspended their campaigns. Yes, we were part of the 20% they were talking about on the news.

Here’s the Republican “platform.” They won’t write it down because too many voters might read it, so I did it for them. Despite being in the minority in terms of the US population, members of the SCOTUS, “Conservatives,” RWNJs, and white supremacists are attempting to drag this country back to their imaginary Jeffersonian agrarian idyl. The 1790 census (when Jefferson was Secretary of State), counted 5.3M Americans. Only white males owning 50 acres or more of land were permitted to vote, approximately 6% of the population. Free white men who did not own land, free white females, and slaves could not vote. In 1790 the American population was largely rural, making a living by farming. Our most recent census counted 332,403,650 Americans. Current estimates are that 83% of Americans live in urban areas. They do not work at farming. Of course, a country of 300-plus million Americans requires a larger government than one with only 5.3 million Americans. Please don’t worry about how “small government” works with regulating what goes on in your bedroom, or prohibiting women (still citizens as far as I know) from crossing state lines for medical care. Nevertheless, in pursuit of “small government,” the following are conservatives’ goals for their “Jeffersonian” America

1. No women’s rights.

2. No civil rights for people of color, or for any other minority groups.

3. No immigration, other than Caucasians.

4. No labor unions.

5. No health insurance.

6. No legal recourse due to Republican-packed courts.

7. No social security.

8. No disability insurance.

9. No minimum wage.

10. No free and fair elections (ultimately, no elections).

11. Imposed state religion; government (taxpayer) funding of religious schools. Continued…

12. Unregulated militias unchecked by Republican-packed courts.

13. No work on mitigating climate change; no environmental protections.

14. No free press.

Oh, I almost forgot! Lying about and misrepresenting everything Democrats try to accomplish.

GOP politicians don’t care about the environment or mitigating climate change because they intend to stay permanently in office and use their money and power to take over remaining livable locations as environmental conditions worsen. Republican leaders don’t care if America dies as long as they can feed off the carcass for their lifetimes. How many Americans would have to die or be virtually enslaved in jobs with less than living wages for this “platform” to work? Why do you people who support today’s GOP, Trump, and Trump wannabes think that you will come out winners under this regime? NEVER MISS AN OPPORTUNITY TO VOTE, AND VOTE BLUE!

The republican House is on vacation for 2 weeks leaving the border open and the budget that was due in October unfinished.

I’m definitely NEVER TRUMP. I liked Biden but would prefer a younger candidate, but I’ll hold my nose and vote for democracy and decency over 4+ years of Trumpian “rule”.

This two party system needs to be blown up and be replaced by 5 to 7 parties and ranked choice voting.
