Of course everyone knows Trump never said anything about the auto industry related to his bloodbath comment at his Klan rally.

    Don’t get it twisted.

MAGA didn’t hear “cars” or “China”.

They heard, “If I lose there will be a blood bath.”

    Just as it was intended.

Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. If you have incited an armed mob, echoed the rhetoric of mass shooters and Hitler himself, and praised Nazis, you don’t get to use the word ‘bloodbath’ and then scream ‘but context!’

Trump very much MEANT to threaten us with a bloodbath

Very much MEANT to order the Proud Boys to stand by

Very much MEANT to threaten Pence by expressing his disappointment

Very much MEANT to endanger judges

There is NO context that justifies his rhetoric

Ha ha ha. It’s funny until the nut cases start bullying, threatening, and killing. My mother, a World War II WAC who reveres the flag, wept when she watched your friends storm the Capitol Jan, 6. Were you, like your revered leader, smiling?

Another Trump quote taken out of context has the media mewling and leftists collectively soiling their panties. See above, fun to watch. He was talking about the possibility of Chinese companies assembling cars in Mexico and selling them in the US.

She’s correct, some corrupt DA will find a way to charge Trump for his statement.

CNN – Trump warns of ‘bloodbath’ for auto industry and country if he loses the election

Former President Donald Trump warned Saturday that if he were to lose the 2024 election, it would be a “bloodbath” for the US auto industry and the country.

The remark came as Trump promised a “100% tariff” on cars made outside the US, arguing that domestic auto manufacturing would be protected only if he is elected.

“We’re going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not going to be able to sell those guys if I get elected,” Trump said during a rally in Vandalia, Ohio. “Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole – that’s gonna be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That’ll be the least of it. But they’re not going to sell those cars.”

He said no such thing. He said (first in reference to immigrants):

“I don’t know if you call them people. In some cases they’re not people, in my opinion. But I’m not allowed to say that because the radical left says that’s a terrible thing to say.”

“If I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole—that’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country.”

    Shortly afterward he said:

“If this election isn’t won, I’m not sure that you’ll ever have another election in this country.”

If those aren’t calls to attack if he loses, then what are they?

Trump began inciting the insurrection as soon he knew that he had a good chance of losing reelection, claiming fraud even before the election actually was held.. Once he did lose, supporters filed 60 something court cases protesting the outcome, none of which he won, most of which were thrown out for lack of evidence. As soon as the election was called for Biden, he started sending out tweets calling for his supporters to gather in D.C. on January 6, ready to fight- or “they would not have a country’. THEY ACTUALLY BELIEVED THEY WERE FIGHTING FOR THEIR COUNTRY. I can’t fault those who believed then, they were duped, but anyone who still is duped is either as insane as Trump or as evil.

You can not fault Trump for not attempting an insurrection. He gave it his best shot, and still didn’t get enough supporters to show up to get the job done. His best shot, as usual in everything he has done in his life, was inadequate. Now, 2000 of those who believed him have been indicted and 400 are in jail. They won’t be there for any “bloodbaths” he has planned.

He has sponsored Jan 6th anniversary events that were poorly attended. He was found guilty of fraud and sexual assault, but no one demonstrated. It seems unlikely to me that those who claim to believe Trump’s version of history and actually believe that he is being persecuted are willing to show up and do any damage to anything. This is no way negates the possibility of a lone MAGAt doing considerable damage, including bombing, shooting family members etc.

But as far as a “bloodbath” I just don’t believe there are that many hopelessly stupid Republicans.

That‘s not what Trump said. He said:

“““Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a blood bath for the whole — that’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a blood bath for the country.”“““

Yes, his campaign claimed he meant the automobile industry. And he was talking about tariffs on cars before. But what would that actually mean? A bloodbath for or in the automobile industry?

U.S. companies have had products manufactured in Mexico and Asia since many years, this is not Biden’s invention or fault. Since there is no bloodbath right now, why would there be one if Biden gets re-elected?

That is not plausible at all. It certainly sounded as if he meant a bloodbath in the country, as he literally said.

trump does a poor excuse of a salute as a recording plays of the Star-Spangled Banner, sung by a bunch of january 6 convicts, accompanied by trump.

“Bloodbath for the auto industry” is how it is being spun, but that isn’t what he said. What he actually said was ""Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole . . . that’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country, that’ll be the least of it."

If he really meant just the auto industry, he had an awfully funny way of saying it. And I don’t mean in the “haha” sense, because I am not laughing. The spin being put on this amounts to, “who do you believe, us or Donald Trump?”

I see a lot of comments claiming that Trump was taken out of context, even when he is taken completely in context. Yet these are the same commenters that have taken what Pres. Biden and Hillary Clinton and others completely out of context and never admitted such as context would have disproved what they were trying to lie about. In this case, trump left his context very fuzzy, as he often does, so his “followers” get his message.

Who is more radical and intolerant? Democrats have gone from a pro-worker and pro-border security party to one of open borders. They’ve changed from advocating that abortion be “safe, legal, and rare” to demanding any and all abortions for any reason at any point in the pregnancy; all objectors are bigoted adherents of the patriarchy. They went from “get your laws off my body” to “take this vaccine or lose your job.” They turned MLK’s colorblind dream into a race-obsessed nightmare. They went from champions of free speech to Big Brother censors and historical revisionists. Arguably, the biggest shift of all is on sex. Once advocates of women’s rights, Democrats no longer even know what a woman is. The Rainbow Mafia dictates Democrat Party positions today, grooming and recruiting young people at an alarming rate.

Who is more radical and intolerant? Donald Trump, who commented on an economic issue, or Keith Olbermann, who just now advocated for Trump’s assassination?

This is the part where we see whether the Secret Service is still capable of doing their duty, or if they’ve gone the way of the FBI and are just another arm of the Federal Administrative Police State that’s now weaponized against those they are sworn to support.

Oh, by the way Peter Strzok, I keep asking for cheese on my cheeseburger and you keep forgetting to put it on. I can see why the FBI fired you!

“We’re going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not going to be able to sell those cars if I get elected,” Trump said. NOW IF I DON’T GET ELECTED IT’S GOING TO BE A BLOODBATH for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it. IT’S GOING TO BE A BLOODBATH FOR THE COUNTRY. That will be the least of it.
