The mask keeps your face warm in cold weather. Among other things.

Although optional, many people here still wear them. The incidence of the Tridemic are minimal here because of that. Maybe some people prefer to get sick?

I’m of the opinion that we should all use masks throughout the fall/winter, anyway. With or without Covid/Flu, it cuts down on the transmission of all kinds of viruses, etc. (I also like that it keeps my face warm, and prevents dry-air problems with my sinuses.). I’ve also been wearing my earbuds, even when I’m not listening to an audiobook or music, when outdoors, with the result that I no longer get ear-aches from the cold/damp weather. (It also cuts down on being talked to by people I don’t know. :D )

Oh well,what percent of U.S. population got boosted and flu shot?Pretty low from what I hear.I got mine,and I don’t give two rat poops about anyone who hasn’t got theirs.Grow up!

My favorite thing is to read comments about what a scaredy cat I am for wearing a mask!! This is from people who mostly can’t leave the house without an arsenal on them!!

An acquaintance once told me that my mask was silly and unnecessary. Oddly, he came down with covid which developed into pneumonia requiring him to need an oxygen mask. I wonder if he felt that mask was silly and unnecessary?

It confuses me that some of the same people who are claiming this is a virus the Chinese developed to infect the world with and kill people, are the same ones who cry it is taking their rights away to wear a mask. I would have thought they would be leaders in taking a defensive stance to an act of agression.

Was pleased to see my local public health office suggest we all mask up even though per the CDC we are in “low” transmission. I had been blissfully going maskless this fall, but the mask is back! I also got my updated Covid shot and the annual flu shot in October. ;-)

I’ve had all the shots available, arms still sore from the last one. At this point, if I am wearing a mask, it’s to protect someone too stupid to get the shots. Why would I care if I infect them, one less conservative vote?

I still don’t understand why, even now, people who don’t want to wear a mask get so angry at those of us who choose to do so. I don’t see where wearing a mask is harming anyone who isn’t wearing one. I just want to be left alone to do what I think is best for me.

Just use the former guy and China’s solution- stop testing, and the rates will go down!

Consider the alternative.

Masks are worthless especially the cloth ones it’s just the democrats trying to gain more control

An answer to the age-old question, “Who was that masked man?” In these parts, “that masked man” is often me, but without the white horse and silver bullets. 8>)

And flu and RSV and who knows what else? Mask up AND get those boosters…..

Feel free to stay in your little bubbles. The rest of us will live our lives with the Uncommon Cold.
