   Of course, but overall, wages are up higher than inflation. I know my pay is. I’ve gotten raises and bonuses, which hadn’t happened for decades.

   All I ever got was cost of living, and that’s not a raise. Economists have said wages were stagnant going back to 1980.

   Gee, I wonder what happened then…

   Makes me irate.

   Inflation is coming down, but of course, prices never do. I also buy a lot of products that I normally use on sale with the store card, which saves on gas, too.
