It does seem a little ridiculous that Tycoon Tiffany would look so wide-eyed nervous, when thinking about losing $500.

Question is.. was Tiff already going to have Stef as her roomie again? So if she loses.. has she really lost nothing??

Tiff better call up Elwood Druit and see if he wants to store his Limo at her place. lol

THAT is what’s known as a “sucker bet,” Tiff. Because you know darn well, you’re gonna lose. But hey, YOU are the one that decided to bet.

I haven’t attended college since the dark ages. But isn’t highly unusual to keep the SAME dorm mates semester after semester?

AND if you disliked your roommate last semester, couldn’t one take steps NOW to make sure you don’t get the same roomie next semester?

Tiffany wants to bet a $20 lunch while Bets wants $500 cash. Wow, what an exploiter. She gets Gunther to make all these costumes, racks in the “big” bucks and how much does she share with him? She probably still expects the Gun man to pick up their dinner tabs.

Tiff recovered nicely from that take out raise from Bets and made a shrewd wager. If Tiff loses she is no worse off that she was last semester. But if she wins she’s rid of Steffi-bird!

So the dorm quad roomies will be back as roomies again in the fall. I’d try to ditch Stef by looking for a new rommie to replace her.

I’ve run into street wise con artists like Bets. She can throw down an insurance scam if you bumped her with a shopping cart. First thing: Pull an Elon Musk and get out of the deal. Next kick her out of the mansion the way the Royal family kicked Prince Harry and Meghan out of England. At least with Stef you know what you’re getting.

Now THAT is a prize worth fighting for. STEF-OUT!

Why would any of them invite Stef back to the quad? She was a nightmare roommate to all of them. Are there really no other ladies at Mooney Uni in need of a dorm for the next semester?

Bets seems to be absolutely sure to win and it’s easy to see why. That Tiffany may be able to earn 4k monthly with her waremanse and in such a short time seems totally impossible. And even if Tiffany wins, I’m afraid ending up with Stef as a roommate will slowly drive Bets crazy. On the other hand, if Tiffany ends up with Dez as a roommate, that would be really good for her.

Dang! Tiff has to learn again…and again….and again….

I suspect Tiff’s Dad isn’t gonna be too happy with her new venture. Nor the richy neighbors. Nor their town’s zoning board.

Well, Tiff never was too bright. This Manse Warehouse thing is going to blow up in her face somehow. Thank goodness for the heavy duty make-up on the market today.

Tiff has a real motivator. Now, how long will this game last just one month? so for all of august ( at minimum) they will labor; spreadsheets are due in september.

Pretty sure I know where this is going. Tiff will gather even more uninsured items for the “waremanse”, so that when the inevitable robbery takes place, none of these items will be covered, which will result in Tiff losing all profit and perhaps even more.

I sort of remember what Luann looked like.

Despite Tiffany’s unseemly choice of business activity…Am >I< the only one who feels that Tiff’y is performing an actual, tangible service of value…while Bets is doing nothing but being a troll-food media hawr, contributing nothing to the state of the world – but simply feeding the public’s appetitive for vacuous “entertainment”???

I like Tiffany’s positive attitude…..”when you lose”…. ;-)

Tiff will win, but next fall, steph will probably be broken up with kip again or kip changed where he lives and steph will be there all the time.

I knew thatSteffi would be in this summer arc set, and predicted it. The set of panels showing her packing her stuff showed her playing careful, and unusually quiet attention to Tiff’s and Bets conversation about their summer plans, I think she wants to be included—down deep I think she is really very lonely. It should be interesting,, with lots of twists and turns, and hilarious.

Tiff stated she makes $700 a month against 2K for Bets. How is she going to overcome that? She’s lost already. All these people who think Tiff has a chance are drifting down that river in Egypt!

New character? Gunther’s dad. Where has he been for the last 20 years?

It feels like Bets is just a new version of Crystal: someone who on paper is Tiffany’s friend, but whose main purpose is just to constantly make her look bad. Except with Crystal it’s by deliberately insulting Tiffany, and with Bets it’s more by introducing Tiffany to situations where she’ll end up humiliated. Same end result, but different paths to get there, and with Bets it’s not being done deliberately (as far as we can tell) so nobody can question why Tiffany would stay friends with someone like that (and in the former case she didn’t stay friends: Tiff and Crystal haven’t spoken to each other at all since high school). G&K learned from their past attempt.

Finally! This arc is starting to get good!
