Yup, that’s what older sibs do … yank on da bunny ear, and put a kink in da tail … if he keeps it up, Little Miss Angry Hop Hop is going to stick a BABY carrot in his ear!
No, little girl. You got wrong grammar. See, I give example. If I say “I are bear”, it wrong. It’s “I is bear”. And you are bunny. So you are bunny is correc… Uh.. wait. No, that should’ve been is and not are. Something went wrong here. Lemme check.
They’re long since grown up, but when a friend’s children were little, they all had nicknames after animals. The oldest was Duck, the next was Lion, the next was Bear. Then along came a little one dubbed as a Bunny while still an infant. One of her brothers. I believe Bear, was so worried that she would be made fun of for her nickname that he tried to get them to change it.
OMC, the girl’s tantrummy hopping is so cute. We have a little boy living upstairs; he’s around two and he hops or runs everywhere in the apartment. Paul and I call him Thumper.
Last night, the Mother In Law got the call that I’m sure all of us dread getting while we’re on vacation and, long story short, the emergency vet quietly gave her cat, Kitty, his ticket for his trip to the Bridge last night at age 18.
Funny story about how Kitty got his name. Someone abandoned him near their home and they took him in to get him out of the elements of the Arizona summer while they made arrangements to have him brought to a shelter. Unfortunately, the Boy quickly developed an attachment to him and wanted to name him. (Interestingly, his idea was to name the cat Molly, the same as the cat they already had.) The MIL said, “You’re not naming him. If you have to call him something, call him Kitty, because you’re not keeping him.” So … they did, and a couple of years later, I arrived on the scene and was introduced to Kitty … and also to Molly, who herself went to the RB in 2012.
The MIL seems to be handling things well, but I suspect that may change once she gets home and Kitty is not there to solicit boops and skritches on her arrival.
Having owned rabbits (I blame my young one from sometime back) – And now with Shadow the black rabbit – I can totally see the relation here! … Rabbits, when upset, WILL stomp there hind feet just like a toddler, like LOUD!
They do have teeth, and claws, and they WILL use them! … Still, they can be loving little critters!! ;)
Georgia posted on facebook: “If you’re reading today’s ‘Breaking Cat News’ Sunday strip in newspapers, yes there really was a bunny coat! The Girl loved it and lived in it for about two years. In real life, she spotted it from across an aisle in Target and went wild for it. It was originally a Cat & Jack brand coat I believe, and literally cute as a button! These days it has been handed down to a dear friend’s daughter to live on.”

It took me a moment to remember that “who are you wearing?” doesn’t necessarily mean “whose skin was that before you stole it?”
Once I got past that, the Girl – I mean, the Bunny – looks darling.

We had a large, dominant female rabbit for many years. The two cats we had then were afraid of her.
Sounds like the girl is channelling the alpha attitude that so many does display. =^^=
