Let’s face it: as well as an imaginary friend, Hobbes can also be an imaginary enemy.

Today, he would cost a million, because he says so.

Calvin cost more than a nickel. His parents have been paying the price ever since.

One thing Hobbes cannot do is destroy Calvin’s robust self-esteem!

According to Calvin’s dad, Calvin was the cheap model from K-mart, instead of the more expensive Sears kid kit.

That would’ve been enough to buy some psychiatric help in some places. It would’ve been a better deal.

It’s true Calvin, tigers won’t share their territories. Insults however, are a different matter all together.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Calvin’s parents paid a penny for him at the flea market and the vendor gave them a twenty dollar bill, back in change.

I’m sure that Calvin came about because his Dad DIDN’T have a nickle, when he needed one, for something that prevents Calvins from becoming.

Bill Watterson is a genius that is sorely missed.I’ve heard he still does cartoons, but throws them away.
