Cul de Sac by Richard Thompson for October 08, 2009

Transcript:
Mom: So you know what you're going to be for Halloween? Alice: I'll show you! Close your eyes! They're closed. OK, now... open them! Tah-daaaaaa! Mom: You're going as a box of Blammos cereal? Alice: It's my favorite thing!
Happy birthday Richard. My rule for costumes, never wear a costume that doesn’t allow you to sit down. And, never wear a costume that doesn’t allow you to drink.
when i was 8 or9 my brother made a robot costume out of cardboard boxes, and for the arms he used those oatmeal containers taped together with duct tape
If they make a super-economy size bigger than the one Alice is holding, she may be able to literally dress up as a box of Blammos. But I predict the rain will not be kind to those marshmallows.
I briefly considered that this might be what she was thinking about – what with the discussion of the perfectly marketed cereal box a few days ago. Hope her mom has fun making this!
