The first time Lady Liberty got run over isn’t a patch on what the second time would be. We’ve been promised that the second time will be much worse. I believe it.

Giving Trump a second chance to complete his mission of running over Lady Liberty — destroying our constitutional democratic republic by lying, cheating or even violent overthrow — would be nothing short of handing over the United States and our allies (in or out of NATO) to Russia and fulfill the long-standing KGB/Soviet/Russian dream. In fact, he has even promised that he will be a “dictator on day one.”

On November 18, 1956, while addressing Western ambassadors at the Soviet embassy in Warsaw, Poland, Nikita Khrushchev made this prophecy: “We will take America without firing a shot. We do not have to invade the U.S. We will destroy you from within.”(It was the same speech in which he also famously said, “We will bury you,” which he later clarified as being a metaphor for outcompeting in the world marketplace of ideas.)

On January 20, 2017, former top KGB officer in the old Soviet Union and now Russian dictator Vladimir Putin installed his obese orange puppet to destroy the constitutional democratic republic of the United States and replace it with a puppet controlled from Moscow as he admitted doing in response to a question from a reporter at the joint press conference where Putin and Trump stood side-by-side in Helsinki, Finland, on July 16, 2016.

(This was the same joint press conference in which, as Putin admitted to interfering in the 2016 election, Trump treasonously said that he trusted Putin over all seventeen of the heads of U.S. intelligence agencies and then met one-on-one with Putin with no advisors or witnesses present other than translators raising the questions of what national security secrets or other national security betrayals did Trump offer and why does Putin wield such power over Trump.)

However little Putin spent to interfere in the 2016 election cost a fraction of the expense of a single tank, but it was the best return on any investment Putin ever made.

Now he is determined to try again.

If we could just jail Trump, get rid of MAGA, stack the Supreme Court, eliminate the filibuster, control free speech, eliminate the electoral college, and voter i.d., then we could save Democracy.

Ah, Reptilicans — just as she’s being moved, at last, from the Insurrectionist ICU… and now on to — what — a MAGA psycho ward bed?!

Today’s GOP: No morals, no plans, no sanity, no shame.

A tough sell, but there are many ignorant folk out in the boonies that might not know that old adage “Fool Me Once, Shame on You; Fool Me Twice, Shame on Me”. And, the smarter republicans are known for having no shame so they are already in your camp.

I’ll be voting for democracy and a woman’s right to her own body in November. Just waiting for the polls to open.

Speaking of perversion of justice, another thought: If Trump can keep appealing long enough to win the election, he’ll have SCOTUS see to it that he doesn’t have to pay his massive and increasing court judgments—over half a billion bucks so far.

And he’ll have the DOJ see to it that he won’t have to go to trial again in the third defamation case that E. Jean Carroll now has clear cause to bring against him, since he defamed her again today (3/10/24).

My anxiety is currently worse than the first time around. The thought of a second term terrifies me.

The avian H1N5 flu that over the past 10 years has spread to all seven continents with the penguins in Antartica the latest casualties. It has wiped out population of wild migrating fowl as well as domestic chickens (hence the rise in prices for eggs). It has now jumped to mammals for the first time. While it does not as of now infect humans easily it could be heading that way. Does anyone really want Trump in control when the next most likely even deadlier pandemic hits?

We are no longer accepting things we cannot change. It’s now time to change the things we cannot accept. MAGA!

In other words, MAGA-GOP wants to finish off liberty completely.

@FJB Actually, your list sounds like a pretty good plan to me, except I think you meant unstack the Supreme Court and protect free speech. But you sure nailed the rest of it!

60 million will STILL vote for Orange Jesus and the MAGA-GOP will do whatever it can to prevent 70 million people from voting for Biden.

Remember…you can fool some of the people all of the time, you can fool all of the people some of the time…but the trick is to fool enough of people on election day.

It is too bad the Rs don’t appreciate their mothers, wives, daughters, or nieces. They are about to learn a serious lesson.
