Three space facts

One time there were 123.5 million viewers. One time there was a Super Bowl LIX. I’d rather watch a recording of the first moon landing than sit through that dumb game.

I think the Russians would know English. They might of spoke several languages.

Ho many astronauts still try

I thought Space-X had taken that business.

A guy took his blonde girlfriend to the super bowl game. They had great seats right behind their team’s bench.

After the game, he asked her how she liked it.

“Oh, I really liked it,” she replied, “especially the tight pants and all the big muscles, but I just couldn’t understand why they were killing each other over 25 cents.”

Dumbfounded, her boyfriend asked, “What do you mean?”

“Well, they flipped a coin, one team got it and then for the rest of the game, all they kept screaming was… ‘Get the quarterback! Get the quarterback!’ I’m like helloooooo? It’s only 25 cents!”

Is that the Great Gazoo watching the Super Bowl?

The only Russian I know is “da”, “nyet”, and “vodka”.

I just discovered that GoComics has banned the slant character when used to divide two words without spaces. You will see: “URLs are not allowed in the comments”under the comment block.

I suppose that rules out farting, also when doing EVA’s?

I’d think, since the astronauts will have to spend an extended time in a small space with Russian astronauts, they’d want, and need, to learn Russian, to function up there. That makes more sense than just needing it for the ride!

In terms of percentage of people on earth in 1969 vs the time of the Super Bowl LVIII in 2024 The moon landing would still win.

I thought the Space X Dragon capsule took over the duties of taking American astronauts to the ISS

IIRC, Russian cosmonauts also have to learn English. I read somewhere that astronauts & cosmonauts are required to speak each other’s language when communicating, so they don’t take off running in their own language & risk having their listeners miss something important. Not sure thether that’s true, but it does make some sense!

If the pressure’s that low, how can they breathe? Or does it just not support the high frequency of a whistle?
