    Just for the sake of conversation (as opposed to an argument); I’m of mixed opinion about hunting.

    I have no problem hunting or fishing (really the same thing in the long run) for food, but deplore the idea of “sport hunting” simply to claim a trophy to hang on my wall, and that would most likely be tossed in the trash when I die.

    My ONLY exceptions to my eat what I take rule is that on occasion I will join a hunting or bow-fishing group that are out removing dangerous invasive species that are destroying the local native wildlife habitats, or have become a threat to humans.
