And don’t get me started on people who put ketchup on hot dogs.

Perfection takes practice. I’ve been practicing for decades and still haven’t quite gotten there. (Just so close.)

A local place has “hog dogs”. It’s a quarter pound foot long, smothered in BBQ pulled pork, with a few bacon strips lining the sides. There’s also a cheese sauce hiding somewhere in there.

Provolone wit’out. Just bread, meat & cheese on my cheesesteak.

Don’t call it a “Philly” or a “Philly cheesesteak.” When a place calls them those names, it’s a sure bet that it doesn’t resemble a true cheesesteak in any fashion.

The restaurant is supposed to add other ingredients on request, not make a pre-made sandwich where you have to ask for some ingredients to not be included, if even possible.

A good friend is from Philadelphia and I used to gag when I saw him putting mustard on his pretzels. I do that, now. It all depends on the quality of the mustard.

I always eat my burgers, hot dogs and cheesesteaks plain. It’s nice to see that Crunchy has good taste. Although I do enjoy a good chili dog.

I’m pretty sure it just a cheesesteak, unless you aren’t from Philly!

The SEPTA bus should be mostly white, with red and blue markings.

I’m with Crunchy! If it is a good quality burger or hot dog, I’d rather taste it than condiments. All my hamburger needs is a little salt and pepper. Hot dogs don’t even need a bun.

No mustard or relish on my dog. I go for chili and cheese, preferably cheddar though some places only have American

In my youth, I liked my hotdogs with everything…including ketchup. However, in the wisdom of my old age I have developed an appreciation for the refined flavor of a simple, good-quality hotdog, and with the exception of a chili dog on the rare occasion, I now enjoy my wieners commando.

I was never a fan of condiments myself, I enjoy toppings like chopped pickle but mustard and other stuff like that always grossed me out.

I like sauerkraut on m dogs. Hmmm. I wonder how that would work on a Philly cheesesteak.

There’s canned sauerkraut—-and then there’s the real stuff the Pennsy Dutch make(go to Reading Terminal Market).

And the whole point of a Philly Cheesesteak is to bury the thing.Wait a minute, they forgot the meat…..
