Is Phoebe going to get some of Todd’s exhaled candy, did she already get some, or did she ask him for none?

Hey Todd, play “Charge!” You know for baseball and hockey.

I checked, and I found no reason to believe that Todd hadn’t been with them the entire time.

And the treaters ended up with more candy than they started with.

It looks like Phoebe is using singular “they” in the second panel. Singular they dates back to 1375, but fell out of favor in the 18th century. I know people want genderless pronouns, but I find its use confusing.

Who’s “they”? There was only one ghost.

Gotta love Todd. He’s a distant relative. His accent is even a little different. The way we say it in my area is “rawr”.

With Todd around, they’re sure to get lots of candy.

Only on Halloween would a little girl accompanied by a human-dressed unicorn and pulling a dragon wagon not seem a bit weird…
