That’s just the glazier preparing repairs using a small glacier later.

How bout you?
No. And I refuse to be yours – sober up and change channels yourself!
Treat at home – anytime, even on short notice. Elsewhere – unexpectedly, yes. But only special guests and on special occasions. Like a Korean friend that we’ll meet this Monday: she shares the same birth-date (not the year, she’s a bit younger ;-)) with my husband. She doesn’t know yet – don’t tell her! ;-)
One week ago, we were invited to a restaurant to a close friend of our’s birthday. He wanted to invite us, his mother (a very close friend of ours, too), his sisters and family (one of his nephews has the same birth-date).
Of course there was no question to share our part of the bill even if our friend nearly refused – but he is a widower who struggles to provide for his children, one of his sons studying abroad!
We consider it a privilege to count as family…
Yes; and he was one in need when his wife died. Donation and loan from our side.
I don’t prefer that, but sometimes it turns out to be…
I received a delivery from “our” spirits-and-stuff-distributor a few minutes ago – among lots of other things, I’d ordered “Maisel & Friends Stefan’s Ale” and – as usual – “Jameson Black Barrel”…
That robot really looks evil – like miming Winky…
Maybe Dr. Mel had been influenced by “Colossal” while building it.
Winky – just try a bucket of water. Ask Bucket-Bot for help.
In case of Kill-Bot being made of stainless steel (fat chance with a Scrooge like Dr. Mel!) – kiss your spleen good-bye.
Maybe Phil could be of some assistance with his acid body-fluids…
I hope they got kicked out and some people who really want to learn something useful took their places.
And that they had to pay for all the damage and follow-ups (moving the dorm etc.). They had a bright future ahead in the demolition-business.
At least, his audience will start praying – but Crumb wouldn’t want those prayers being answered…

Do you lend or borrow?
Sometimes borrow from my husband for mutual things if I’m short on cash (but he always gets that cash back) – and sometimes lend to friends in case of emergencies, but larger sums only with a receipt. Works nicely.
And no, Tony – you pay for your drinks yourself. No money from me.
