Tiffany sure is quite a men’s lady.

Poor Tiff is so egocentric.

Luann may have a broken foot, but at least she gets to drive Tiffany ape-spit crazy. She probably considers that a fair trade.

Of course this development is a hoot. But we’ll have to wait longer, it seems, to find out more about Luann’s state of body and mind.

Not a good match. Luann is going to have to figure out how to let him down gently.

Now that she knows they are for Luann, I can see Tiff pushing them off the edge of the counter by “accident”.

This could be a wake-up moment for Tiffany. But Tiffany doesn’t allow herself wake-up moments. I predict she will stick to her me-first protocol and insist that the roses are merely an apology for the broken foot and that Jack’s affections are really hers.

Too bad Jack didn’t send the flowers to the hospital or Luann’s home address. She’ll probably never know that he sent flowers now…

@ARGYTHREE Next time Jack sees Luann, he might ask her about the roses. If he discovers Tiff withheld them from Luann, he might just end up pissed at The Tiffster. He could get even by inviting Tiff to go bowling with him…

Dang – I keep having hopes for Tiffany to develop a little more soul (not too much). Well we have to wait a day or two more to find out Luann’s state. Hopefully her excitement over Jack was attributable in part to the pain medication.

We do not know how much time has passed. If Luann was in hospital before he sent the flowers, then he knew the wrong person was going to get them. As you can tell, I still think he’s an idiot.

Such an example of Luannverse! Last we saw in regular Luannverse was the phone call to mom that expressed how the date went, and how Luann enjoyed Jack, and how it appeared to Luann at least, that Nil and Bernice hit it off, and oh by the way she was in the hospital. Now we see flowers being sent to where Luann and Tiffany work in the Kids Center, with Tiffany, maybe, exaggerating about dating Jack, but being totally clueless that the flowers were sent for Luann, not her. When Luann limps back to the Center will romantic confusion and competition ensure, along with hilarity? I can predict that at least for sure. I hope this comment actually appears in the comment GoComics.

Jack is starting to grow on me. I wonder if Luann is ever going to see those flowers, or is Tiffany going to hide them or throw them away just to keep them away from her and keep her from knowing he sent them. I guess we will find out about her foot in due time…..she must not be in the hospital if he’s sending flowers to where she works!

Looks like the Ape of Hearts is winning all the female readers. Hopefully there are more cards to play.

Why is everyone assuming Luann’s not coming to work? Of all the different injuries that could be caused by a bowling ball falling on a foot, most would end up in the victim limping to work the next day, as long as their job allowed for limping. If she broke a toe or (“just”) sprained something, there wouldn’t even be a cast or probably even crutches.

And that’s in our universe, where there’s less flexibility than in the Luannverse.

Don’t hide the flowers from Luann, Tiff

Well, Luann can kiss those flowers goodbye. Tiffany has already claimed them and won’t tell Luann they are hers. That’s the way she rolls.

This is the first time I’ve seen Tiffany since the breakin at the dorm. They mentioned it was a female they seen on surveillance and Tiff was always around so I assumed it was her. But they never finished that story line.

Apologies if someone has said this earlier, but i have to read the comments later. Anyway, why red roses? Has the symbolism for rose colors been forgotten? That is my best guess because i think Jack remains intent on casual dating. So, i was surprised to see solid red which symbolizes love traditionally. I recall that yellow is friendship and i think – but check me – that pink is liking. Probably, i am just old…

Who wants to bet that Luann never gets the flowers, and when she returns to work and sees them on Tiffany’s desk, Tiffany tells Luann that Jack sent them after their latest club date…

Tiffany’s egomania is back. Why else would she steal Luanne’s flowers? My guess is that she’s so starved for attention that she will do anything to feed her ego.

Soooooo…… am I the only one who is STILL wondering who stole the TV and broke the vending machine? I mean who ever it was had Tiffany’s ID-Card to enter the building, and they had them on camera, but we were never shown who it was…… thoughts???

Actually those flowers are from the “Dewey Cheatham & (Jack) Howe” Law Firm, Informing Luann how much cash She can get in a LAWSUIT.

Wanna bet Tiffany will remove the card to Luann and write a new card to herself? Then Jack will become upset that Luann did not thank him for the flowers and dump her?

Finally Jack understands the way to a girls heart is through her nose NOT her toes.

The florist, or their delivery service, are on the hook for those flowers. It is their responsibility to ensure that they are delivered to the correct person. Also, a receipt of delivery is usually required from the person accepting the flowers. But, I honestly think Tiffany will do the right thing after reading the card and give Luann the flowers.

PS: I don’t think that Tiffany is that callous of a person to withhold the truth about the flowers from Luann.

And to think: Tiffany made it all possible.

My, roses can be expensive. He sure seems serious and no doubt sorry about the mishap with the bowling ball.

Everyone’s looking for a fight/intrigue between Tiffany and Luann over the roses. Another possibility: the roses will be dropped and never mentioned again. Only time will tell. What does SCHRODINGER’S DOG know/say?

Jack may be a scruffy-looking jock. But 1) he’s taking an art class (with Luann) from that looney professor; 2) he’s gone out with Luann at least twice; and 3) he’s sent her flowers after injuring her by accident. The guy has a heart and a soft side. Maybe he’s not a bad boyfriend for Luann, at least for a while. He is very different from Quill, goodness knows!

So, Tiff, my friend, back off this time!
