I’m 78 and, except for a little hair thinning on the top/rear, I fortunately have to see my barber once every month or so. I am now, however, quite white, including my beard. My mother’s father also had a full head of hair, but my father’s side had little left when it was time to “shuffle off.”
Most modern cars have headlights that turn on automatically when you start the engine. It started in the ‘50s with “running lights”, (your front signal lights).
In the ‘20s here in New Brunswick, Canada, as motor vehicles grew more popular, there was one day a year that people living along dirt roads would get together to repair the potholes. It was called Good Roads Day … a community event, finishing usually with a supper at the community/church hall.
Up here in Canada we have more than our share of squashed porcupines, especially on country roads … and the occasional skunk.
