If there are that many gun laws, the laws need to be simplified. Lots of laws means lots of loopholes.

We don’t need “50,000 laws” we need one good comprehensive law that is not dictated by the NRA.

There is no reason to have a 100 round magazine for an AR15. A comment I saw a couple of days ago said that assault weapons should not be banned as the Browning Automatic Rifle is a favorite of deer hunters, Yeah, Right!

it seems that controlling the carry of guns may be the reason half that theatre crowd weren’t carrying, resulting in a sensational news bit. can we point the barrel of the control issue at the criminal here, and not law-abiding weapons owners? as jefferson said: “the beauty of the second amendment is it will never be needed until they try to take it away.”

Just remember, Scott, who castrated the Health Care Act (It probably should be called the Republican Congressional Attempt to Weaken Health Care Reform) Also look at your history and see who started the ‘Stimulus Packages’ This cartoon deals with “Gun Control” not gun elimination! Tell me who needs fully automatic weapons (besides military) And who needs 6000 rounds of ammo for sport hunting. When I hunt I only need one round per game shot (and 3-5 to sight in) We have almost one gun ‘registered’ for every man woman and child in our country. That’s twice the number for any other nation.

How do you protect yourself and family from a rabid coyote when the nearest help is an hour away?

I am all for moral education. What sort of control do you mean? I think that reasonable gun control might be easier than people control, and less invasive of people’s privacy and freedom.

In terms of much of the policy, beliefs, and philosophy, the forefathers of today’s liberals were the Republicans of the middle 1800’s.

“Obamacare ’won’t cost more money and you can keep your doctor’ has been shown to be a lie.”-Funny, I checked my health coverage and it hasn’t changed.-What changes have you experienced so far?

‘Regulation inevitably leads to confiscation.’-How long ago was the ban of assault weapons enacted in Massachusetts? Are the citizens of Massachusetts now disarmed?
