Hell, I voted for G. None of the above.

With all due respect, you need to raise awareness to get votes. OWS has done that in spades. At one point the only media attention they got was contemptuous. Not any more.And if you think they aren’t looking for votes, then you don’t get the same emails I do from MoveOn.org, Democracy for America, and TruthOut.

and how did those orgs get your email address, Motive?-p.s. I refuse to contact any Soros front group….knowing beforehand that they are the Extreme Left and my political enemy.

Except the other things will make the politicians (hopefully) aware of issues at hand. If people dont get raised for something why should they.

If you look at the “abuse of power”, and real history, the OWS crowd would be standing at Concord against the Teapublican “TEA party”. It is the TEA party that has been sucked into support of “the man” controlling the real money flow, and painful extraction from their “wealth”.

There is a great deal of support for the OWS movement among the general population- like around 60%. That is double what the Tea Party had on its best day- and its best days are gone. That can translate into electing people who support OWS goals. The Tea Party elected enough of their people to bring the government to a standstill when it comes to solving the economic problems, so with double the people behind us, we can get the country moving again, if we use the voting booth to do it.

Except that even if one naively assumes that voter fraud, political disinformation, and overt corruption do not negate the significance of individual suffrage, unless you happen to be an oil company, a defense contractor, a Pharma giant, or a bank, ‘your people’ are not politically viable much less on the ballot.

Those who can, protest.Those who can’t, write lame comics about it.

The other problem is that Item F doesn’t occur very often.

Items A-E can happen much more frequently and maybe help others to make better decisions at the ballot box.

The pending election doesn’t allow me to vote against the republicans in office, or possible democrat replacements.

The punch line rests on the assumption that OWS participant are doing this instead of voting (rather than in addition to voting); is there any evidence whatsoever to support that? Or is this just a glib cartoon strip?

I’d bet that the OWS voting rate is at least equal to that in the population as a whole (which admittedly is insufficient, but that’s a separate issue).

GET REAL, MR. WUERKER! THE CAPITALIST ELECTIONS ARE RIGGED, LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE, IN FAVOR OF THE RULING CLASS! BUT – in the words of Malcolm, “It’s time to stop singin’ and start swingin”!"

VOTING creates political change?  In the 21st century?  With the privatization of the communication airwaves and in the wake of “Citizens United”???  Wow Matt … this has to be one of your most clueless cartoons ever.
