The punch line rests on the assumption that OWS participant are doing this instead of voting (rather than in addition to voting); is there any evidence whatsoever to support that? Or is this just a glib cartoon strip?
I’d bet that the OWS voting rate is at least equal to that in the population as a whole (which admittedly is insufficient, but that’s a separate issue).
