Alice! Dill! Collect all the snowflakes and see if any two are alike. I think Petey would be really interested in your findings….I wonder how many townies were thinking it was a sudden thunderstorm?

Yes, I just recently read this from 2010 I think. I’ve been playing catch-up with the strip in my limited free time. He must be on vacation this week.

This reminded me of the old MASH episode about the bomb scare. All it was was a propoganda bomb and when it exploded, all these ads flew everywhere.

Petey’s practically standing still now. It’s starting to rain again; it’s… the rain had (uh) slacked off a little bit. The rear set of buckles are just holding the backpack (uh) just enough to keep it from… It’s burst into flames! It’s burst into flames and it’s falling, it’s crashing! Watch it; watch it! Get out of the way; Get out of the way! Get this, Charlie; get this, Charlie! It’s fire… and it’s crashing! It’s crashing terrible! Oh, my! Get out of the way, please! It’s burning and bursting into flames and the… and it’s falling on the sidewalk. And all the folks agree that this is terrible; this is the one of the worst catastrophes in the world. It’s in flames… Crashing, oh! Four- or five-hundred homework assignments flying into the sky and it… it’s a terrific crash, ladies and gentlemen. It’s smoke, and it’s in flames now; and the backpack is crashing to the ground, not quite to the sewer grate.Oh, the humanity!
