There is a large meadow with 330 million sheep. Around 6,600,000 of the sheep have claimed over 50% of the meadow, and accuse those who protest this state of affairs as being un-sheepish, or a threat to the primacy of the Invisible Mouth of the Free Meadow. Some see the top 2% as rightful owners of the larger portion of the meadow, even though they cannot consume anywhere near what they are claiming is theirs. Others question a system that is heavily fixed towards the fewest number, many of whom inherited their place in the meadow. The 2% began to construct walls and fortresses around the zones they claimed, and hired goats to defend the perimeters. They hired lobbyists, created partisan think tanks and purchased media to control and disseminate their message of Dominance. The larger population of sheep were buying grass on credit, and when that was cut off they began to wonder why so few had so much of the grass. The 2% looked out from their fortresses with fear, and decided they wanted more of the meadow to compensate them for their insecurity. They hired goats from around the world to work for them, and laid off the remaining native employees. And this is where we are today. Bahhh….
