Nothing weird about that. Today’s TV isn’t as good. Nothing is considered “funny” anymore because someone, somewhere is offended by it. There could never be an All in the Family today.
I’m watching reruns of the old westerns, The Rifleman, Have Gun Will Travel, Tombstone Territory and others. They’re reasonably clean family entertainment.
On Thurs, my husband will be wearing his D-Backs stuff to the game. He’s from here so that’s his team. We went to the get his game ticket and stuff at the pro shop on Wed. I didn’t go with him. When he handed me the receipt for the stuff, I
At the hotel breakfast yesterday, there were a bunch of people with Cardinals shirts, My sister was wearing her Phillies shirt, During baseball season, my phone calls with her are short because it always drifts to baseball. I have zero interest in it.
I like archaeology ones about hundreds & thousands of years ago. A science channel actually finds some answers & the alien ones ask amusing questions. Even those rehash the same old stories almost as bad as prime-time networks. Bite my zomby.
Those old comedy shows were a scream. They sure don’t make anything like that anymore. The Honeymooners, All in The Family, Married with Children, SNL, In Living Color, Cheers and even Friends to name a few.
This would definitely by my dad if we had a parrot as a pet. Only thing I could see different, instead of the Brady Bunch, it would be Perry Mason. My dad always said don’t F***, (excuse the language), with Mason after the show was over and start whistling the theme song. I could see the parrot doing the same. LOL!!! :) Oh and The Rifle Man LOL
My wife found a channel that plays lots of Perry Mason. What an excellent show. I used to watch it all the time with my dad when it was new. I think it is on the Justice Channel.

“Ayyy, the Fonz is here!” “Yabba dabba doo!” “Just one more thing.” “There is nothing wrong with your TV set.” He’ll probably say all that and more.

My first thought was the Brady Bunch isn’t over 50 years old and then I was like, “Oh, I guess it is”.
