There are more empty houses than there are homeless people, another failure of American capitalism.

Nothing wrong with the three bedroom, one bath house that my parents shared with two sons and Bratenella in the early 1950’s in Novato. I estimate that it was about 1500 sq ft, much smaller than the are building today and cheaper to build.

    Let’s think a little smaller.

Break into a house in the Hamptons while the owner is on vacation, rent it to a friend, live in the house together. Under NY law, you will have a really nice place to live for at least two years.

To get the laws changed, move in to Nadler or Schumer’s house while they are in Washington for 30 days. When it happens to someone important, action to restore property rights of the owners should occur.

The average rent for a small apartment is just under $2000 a month in my state. The average home price is just over half a million. I live in a county that’s under populated, and economically depressed and the average home price? $479K. Only a few years ago it would have been more like $65k for the exact same house. In 2023 home prices were up 228.1% And there’s NOTHING here. No industry but some logging and no economic growth.

The people who own the apartments and the mortgages are making money, that is all that matters in the U.S.
