Don’t watch t v and I have seen too many photos of these big screen t v’s broken on delivery, fell off the wall, knocked over by pets, melted by heaters, etc.
Always have the store employees unload it, bring it in, and 1) Remove it from the carton, 2) Use a stud finder to see where the studs are in the wall, 3) Get the best wall mount for the TV, and 4) Mount it high enough to keep it from being scratched or damaged.

Flat screen TVs were why CostCo had to revise their “No Questions Asked” warranty policy.
They sold a buttload of them just before the Superbowl only to have them returned a few days later with very nebulous complaints.
They now have a policy that they Test the TV to see if it still works before processing a refund.
