Possibly due to the majority of households being forced to watch old TV shows because there’s nothing worth watching on live TV anymore for the average viewer. Besides if one kid does it the other follow. Nothing new…
You know what is funny? I went into the barber and asked for a feather hair cut. He looked at me asking “What is that?” I then realized he was not even though of when that was in style, so I found a five minute video on youtube explaining how to do it in stylist speak. Now I have a nice feather cut again, like I did when I was a kid.

I took my teenage son to a hair stylist shop around 2002, because he decided he wanted a mullet- and the hair dresser didn’t know what that was!
