Bjästa hjärnan djur pjoska sjäppa ljuga are actual words using the letter j with other consonants. Interesting that fjord changes to fjärd in Blekinge and stays fjärd around the Baltic. Also, none of these combinations are pronounced as dipthongs, so not feeyord as blunebottle would have it, just fjord.
I think the reason the Viking age ended was that the Norse discovered coffee…“Who wants to spend all that time rowing, rowing, rowing, and then waving those swords around and overpowering the women, and hauling all that heavy loot back to the longship, when you could be sitting in front of the fire having a nice cup coffee.”
No horns, please ,,, my Danish sister-in-law freaks out about this. My brother met her during an R&R from Nam. She taught me that I don’t like glogg . When he first met her, he asked if she spoke English … she held up 5 fingers. Ya gotta love her.
OK, long story here, and names have NOT been changed to protect the innocent for reasons that will become obvious, so if you were there and object let me know and I will delete this. (And yes, this will reveal my identity to the cognoscenti.)
Once had a fellow worker, Nancy Knight. As a prank I used white-out (yes, this was looooong ago, Google it, kids) to add a K in front of her first name on her black cubicle name plate, making it “KNANCY KNIGHT.” Turns out she had no sense of humor and was deeply offended.
As people congregated over this I then realized her boss, a few cubicles away, fit the same pattern, so I added a “G” to his first name to make it “GJACK GJOVAAG.” He arrived, loved it, thought it was hilarious. He kept it permanently. Yes, the original G in the last name was silent, but no longer! Hard Gs, there, both, from that day forward.
His wife also worked in the same building, quite some distance away. Ever after, to the entire building, she was known as “Gbetty.”
Okay, folks, you can go back to your ljutefijsk now!

Nice joke, except it’s not a silent J, it sounds like an “I”. Feeyord.

Back when “Unnecessary Censoring” was a thing, one idiot just had a constant 2-seconds on/1 second off technique that this resembles.

You might want to confer with Dr. Jackson Crawford, before you take license with Danes or Norwegians.

The Vikings did not have horns on their Helmets. The church added them at a later date to appear more like the devil.

There are fjords in other places besides Scandinavia; the Hudson River is one such.
