Hugs are the only thing you can give away and keep at the same time.

Everyone needs a hug now and then. Took a quick look at Mr. Johnson’s portfolio and found dozens of very similar views on this subject. Naturally mostly between our hero and heroine, but the rest of the family exchanged a few also.

I need a hug, but all I see are cats. I can hug them, but they…..not so much! Too bad, raising bears is so dangerous, they are good huggers! …. almost as dangerous as having a wife or girlfriend.

Will anybody send me somebody to hug? Sound just like Freddie Mercury, don’t I?

A hug a day keeps the marriage strong. Multiple hugs make it stronger.

A hug delights and warms and charms, that must be why God gave us arms.

If I feel bad I put out my arms and husband knows to hug me – and the reverse is true also. Our custom when hugging is to say “Firm embrace.” – Mel Brooks said this on “Mad About You” when he hugged Paul Reiser (his nephew in the show). Sometimes those hugs can last a l o n g time before we part.

I heard there was a hugging service. You can pay someone to come by and give you a hug.
