   We usually make the same trip each summer. We book the RV park space before we leave for the following year. Have now moved forward our reservation from 2020 to 2021 to 2022 to 2023 to 2024 – hope we go this summer, while I prefer not to travel he needs the trip.

   For us it the fact that we were friends first and still are, which keeps us together. When we got married the joke among friends was that we had dated for 4 years, were engaged for 2 years so the marriage would last 1 year to fill the progression. That was almost 45 years ago.

   We rarely disagree, but when we do we manage to work it out and each is considerate of the others – I know more about James Bond than any woman should and he knows more Louisa May Alcott than any man should.

   We have a class B RV. We got it due to having had bed bugs which may or may not have come from a hotel. It makes traveling at least three times more work in prepping to go and in dealing with everything day to day. Despite it only being a class B we are unable to several places we used to travel to annually (weekend trips) as it is too big to bring into a city and park it. Husband suffers from motion sickness so he cannot take a bus, train etc. (nor can I drive with him in the vehicle) so we are much more limited in traveling on our short trips than before – and it is a heck of a lot more work even with still eating all meals out.

   It’s just so much work to travel – even though we stay in our little RV (think small van not big RV).

   We are, as usual, the other way around. I do what he wants to do as generally all I want to do is stay home and catch on housework and workwork as I feel we go out of the house much too much – but he really likes to do things like eat lunch daily at Wendys and go to one or another or multiple Walmarts daily – with some days trips to Lowes, Home Depot, Michaels crafts, or Joanns that are basically a waste of time, so I have to fit in what I have to do in the small amount of time left around same.

   Yes, more likely to come from him to me than me to him. For years it was a defense as to why he bought me a gift when I said I wanted nothing. (He has finally understood that unlike what is read around when I say I don’t want a gift I am not playing games – it means I don’t want a gift – as an example.)

    No gifts here. I did mail my mom a card last Monday (all the way to the next county) and she still has not received it.
