One of the things people forget about Moscow Mitch is that he had a ‘handshake deal’ with Harry Reid that he wouldn’t use the filibuster. Of course, he was LYING and used the filibuster hundreds of times.

Mitch dedicated his whole life to serving the Federalist Society, and has done more to destroy democracy by packing the judiciary against the American people than anybody in history. I keep thinking about that smug smile he gave to the reporter bringing up the fact that he effectively eliminated the Obama nomination for the Supreme Court because it was ‘an election year’ and then when faced with a trump nomination, he banged through (in an election year) in a matter of weeks.

His hypocrisy for the sake of political gain is astounding. I hope to heaven that his replacement won’t be worse, considering the MAGATS that have taken over, that is a possibility.

Mitch: you will be remembered for the obstructionist POS you are.

McConnell might be stepping down as Senate Minority Leader, but he intends to serve out his current term (which expires in January 2027) unless he, you know, dies. McConnell earned my ire by bottlenecking the appointment of Merrick Garland to the SCOTUS by then President Obama but then greenlight the appointments of Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Comey Barrett, giving us the current right wing SCOTUS. Safe bet that the GOP will nominate someone like Ted Cruz (R-TX) to replace McTurtle as Senate Minority Leader. As for the November election, my hope is that the Democrats will expand their Senate Majority, hang on to the White House and win back the House. And that in the next few years, Justices Thomas and/or Alito will either fall ill or retire so we can start re-balancing the SCOTUS. That’s my hope anyway.

It’s been my observation that several folks that post on these cartoons are nothing more than professional pot stirrers….just wanna keep stoopid §hit going and going…..some are never happy unless others are upset…..

Some are opining that McTurtle was the worst senator in American history. I’m not sure I would go that far, but would put him up there with Joseph McCarthy, Rand Paul, Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, Football Head, and others.
