    Worst Senator in American History.

One of the things people forget about Moscow Mitch is that he had a ‘handshake deal’ with Harry Reid that he wouldn’t use the filibuster. Of course, he was LYING and used the filibuster hundreds of times.

Tuberville, Vance, Graham, et al… are just slimy contemporary political MAGA lapdogs. Mitch dedicated his whole life to serving the Federalist Society, and has done more to destroy democracy by packing the judiciary against the American people than anybody in history. Not a traitor, no, but dedicated to creating a new aristocracy of the rich and powerful, regardless of the death and suffering of million. There is no redemption for his black soul. From Nietzsche’s doctrine of eternal recurrence:

High though his titles, proud his name,

Boundless his wealth as wish can claim

Despite those titles, power, and pelf,

The wretch, concentred all in self,

    Living, shall forfeit fair renown,

And, doubly dying, shall go down

To the vile dust from whence he sprung,

    Unwept, unhonored , and unsung.

I keep thinking about that smug smile he gave to the reporter bringing up the fact that he effectively eliminated the Obama nomination for the Supreme Court because it was ‘an election year’ and then when faced with a trump nomination, he banged through (in an election year) in a matter of weeks.

His hypocrisy for the sake of political gain is astounding. I hope to heaven that his replacement won’t be worse, considering the MAGATS that have taken over, that is a possibility.

“No one has done more to destroy the federal judiciary than Mitch McConnell. This is the guy who, under Obama, decided to block as many judicial nominations as possible, for no reason other than to leave the seats open so Trump could come in and fill them. This is the guy who violated every known norm to hold open Justice Antonin Scalia’s seat, ostensibly because it came open in an election year, only to fill Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat when people were already voting in the 2020 election. I think he made a lot of Americans wake up and realize that this was all Calvinball, that he had no principles to begin with. But even more than that, Mitch McConnell was the guy who realized you don’t need to win elections to enact Republican policy. You don’t need to change hearts and minds. You don’t need to push ballot initiatives or win over the views of the people. All you have to do is stack the courts. You only need 51 votes in the Senate to stack the courts with far-right partisan activists like Aileen Cannon and Matthew Kacsmaryk. And they will enact Republican policies under the guise of judicial review, policies that could never pass through the democratic process. And those policies will be bulletproof, because they will be called ‘law.’” —Dahlia Lithwick

McConnell might be stepping down as Senate Minority Leader, but he intends to serve out his current term (which expires in January 2027) unless he, you know, dies. McConnell earned my ire by bottlenecking the appointment of Merrick Garland to the SCOTUS by then President Obama but then greenlight the appointments of Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Comey Barrett, giving us the current right wing SCOTUS. Safe bet that the GOP will nominate someone like Ted Cruz (R-TX) to replace McTurtle as Senate Minority Leader. As for the November election, my hope is that the Democrats will expand their Senate Majority, hang on to the White House and win back the House. And that in the next few years, Justices Thomas and/or Alito will either fall ill or retire so we can start re-balancing the SCOTUS. That’s my hope anyway.

Some are opining that McTurtle was the worst senator in American history. I’m not sure I would go that far, but would put him up there with Joseph McCarthy, Rand Paul, Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, Football Head, and others.

Odd that other than Joseph Malarkey (apologies to Walt Kelly), all of the truly awful senators of the past century are in the Senate now.

The brainwashed useful idiots still assert nothing but propaganda, even when their “unimpeachable” star witness is a Russian agent under arrest for perjury and lying to the FBI.

If that National Review supermarket tabloid is pushing op-eds asserting BS about the “Biden Crime Family”, gee, maybe they should find a shyster lawyer willing to risk his law license to present that conspiracy in a court of law. You know, the places that rely on FACTS and not the bleatings of trolls and Fifth Columnists.

In other words, trolls, put up in court, or shut up.

A Nov. 1 memo of bank records showed that, in 2017, Sara Biden, the president’s sister-in-law, sent Joe Biden a $40,000 check marked “loan repayment.” The White House said it was repayment of a short-term loan.

Joe Biden NEITHER HELD PUBLIC OFFICE NOR WAS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT THEN..

Money laundering refers to financial transaction schemes that aim to disguise the origin of illegally obtained money. Available evidence does not show that the money Joe Biden eventually received from Sara Biden was obtained illegally.

Elect trump and he will write a new one.. the current one is out of date anyway, that second amendment thing for one needs to include bazooka’s, anti tank missiles and some high firing rate guns like the M134 and known as the “Minigun”, could fire up to 6,000 rounds per minute. American good guys have far too many restriction at present on what they can carry/pack.
