I’m happy being an old man!

Roscoe thinking, I resent that remark!

Earl philosophy, why should I clean it when Opal will.

Why isn’t Earl cleaning up his own mess?

Yup!

What is with all this senior citizen and male bashing in the “comics” lately?

Maybe it’s time for these “creators” to retire if this is the best they can offer.

I’m old but I do not act like Earl ! Thank – You ! To the Powers that may be ;-)

Wait a minute! I’m an old man, and I do the cooking and cleaning.

Nice of Mr. Crane to add someone new to the Pickles universe…

I take care of myself and the dogs and my wife as needed.

Perspective is everything.

Roscoe doesn’t like being compared to old men.

At times both are odiferious.

As long as you both do your share of the work, everything will go smoothly! LOL

It kind of also applies to older kids like Nelson and his friend.

Make him go hungry Opal. That’ll teach the bum !!!

Dogs are like two year olds. There was a study that figured this out ($$). But most people knew this already.

Hence the camaraderie.

I can feed myself and cleanup my own messes.

That kid is going to grow up to be an Einstein.

Roscoe didn’t like that comparison.

Ah yes, the old and tired joke that men are lazy and worthless.

This is why I have cats rather than dogs or babies. Cats can even feed themselves occasionally off the local mice and gophers.

Shortly, I’ll have been retired longer than I worked. And, when I went to work at AT&T Bell Labs, I had no idea what was meant by “Cradle to Grave.”

And kids too!

I came home from church today, and my hubby was vacuuming. We both live here, so we both cook and clean.

Guilty as charged. But I do clean up and cook great steaks, and wings.

I’m an old man and sometimes I identify as a dog, so there you are.

This discussion reminded me of ‘Old dogs, children and watermelon wine.’

That question that Earl posed to Opal is something I’ve never said and never will to my wife!
