“Those who believe that have souls don’t need proof, and again such beliefs are common today, even among some scientists. To them, it is self-evident and “realer than real.””

I see that you are one of the “faith over facts” delusionists. No fact will sway you; your diatribes are only whimsical tales of feelings rather than solid facts.

You can’t fix stupid, so I’ll stop trying.

I guess drawing a box (which most computers that run A.I. are in) isn’t as provocative.

I do think that LLMs doing their massive copy and paste routine will absolutely change the labor landscape. This is only because it does it faster and better than humans were doing it. I work automating processes for large companies who have humans doing the copy and paste work with a mouse [still] so I know that large companies still rely on a lot of work that is done by mouse, and LLMs are definitely a boon to their productivity.

However, my point is: at this time the “I” in “A.I.” is a misnomer. Compiling, sorting, cutting and pasting is not intelligence. Does it have value? Of course. Is it intelligent? No. Will it affect labor markets? Sure.

    But don’t call it intelligent.

Judging your replies, you must think that more words make the answers better. You make points that don’t have any relevance to my statements, but if you were being paid by the word, you’d be making some serious money. Being verbose is not a feature, it’s a bug. Try succinct for better results.

LOL. You make no sense. Just because men who had s3x with their animals and treated their wives as slaves thought we had souls and perpetuated that idea through violence (think: spanish inquisition and crusades) doesn’t make the idea normal. It is still extraordinary to claim we have souls. Prove it or stfu.
