Grounded makes sense, since you probably won’t be able to spank him.

Who is going to tell on him?

If you break your neck, you’re going to be grounded.

Don’t ground him until after he gets help.

We used to tell our kids, especially the climber of very tall trees, “If you kill yourself out there, you’re in trouble,”

Just part of the fun of going down hill on snow and ice ,without brakes ! Don’t forget the fence at the bottom ;-)

Guess what, kid? You’ve just become the fall guy…

Sounds like something Calvin’s dad would say.

I remember the year I got my toboggan. My father took me to a nearby slope and said he would show me how it’s done. He fell off the toboggan, came up the hill and told me to never do what he had just done.

Reminds me of what my mothers said when she caught me climbing a tree:

“If you fall and break both your legs, don’t come running to me”.

Another fine tree.

“…and so is Daddy.”
