Ha, this is me. One of the reasons why it takes me so long to get rid of stuff… I’d rather things go to where they can be used rather than throwing it into a landfill. And I’m pretty sure that if you give an item in good condition, it’s more likely to be wanted or recycled (I rinse my recycling).

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! I’m glad to be home. Now to get MY life organized. Have a great day, all!

Now that everything is organized will Cathy ever actually take it out of the house? She has good intentions but does she have good follow through/

Welcome back lightenup. I hope you had a good trip and are able to get back to normal quickly.

Today is finally backfill day. At noon, seeing how much stone was left to move I talked with the foreman and suggested using the big tractor to carry the stone from the driveway to the wall. The ‘motorized wheelbarrows’ were taking too long. Now that they are using the big tractor the wall will be backfilled completely today. The crew is not happy about damaging the lawn in spite of all my reassurances that it is not that bad and can be easily fixed up as the ground slowly returns to normal. In fact it was a lot worse when we replaced a section of the wall a couple of years ago. Not many companies take such pride in their work that they don’t want to damage a lawn. Glad they are working for me right now. Oh, don’t picture a nice smooth lawn – it never was that. I have to be careful when mowing that I don’t get jostled too much and hurt my back. Yes it is that rough. Hmmm – where the treads are packing down the dirt may be the smoothest part of the lawn when they are done.

I hope everyone is enjoying this fine midweek day.

Yup—been there. Let’s just say I often … don’t find deep cleaning really fun. Crazy, huh?

    HI, MOM. Hello, “Cathy” Clan.
