Babushka? Who the heck uses that word anymore? It’s “head scarf” now. I haven’t heard anyone use that word since I was a teenager and my mother told my sister to put on her babushka before she went out. (To my sister’s complete horror and humiliation!) Even then, that was a dweebs word, and that was a very loooooong time ago!
Nice try Cathy. Too bad the receptionist recognized the outfit. Of course it is hard to get pity for being broke when you are wearing newly purchased clothes.
Have a fun Monday today. It is a fun day for me. Every now and again I get to go down to the beach and watch the crew rebuilding our retaining wall. It is always fun watching other people work.
