And so begins Garfield’s Christmas shenanigans. Get excited!

Oh contrare, Garfield! This is the perfect time for you to go on the see food diet.

Why did Go Comics take out Classic Garfield? They didn’t take out Wizard of Id Classics or Peanuts Begins or a bunch of other classics.

Sorry Garfield, the “Holiday Season” started about a week before Halloween.

My wife’s jeans keep saying, “No more Christmas cookies but her leggings are like, nah. We got you boo.”

Does Garfield even know what the word diet means?

The fall and winter eating season begins in the fall with Halloween candy, then goes to Thanksgiving with all its goodies, Christmas, Valentine’s day and Easter. So it actually goes into the spring. And they mostly involve chocolate!

Didn’t know there was a Peanuts begins, since all of the Peanuts are classics.

A diet is just a structure of eating. I stick to a strict diet of one advent calendar chocolate a day and what ever I want the rest of the day. Do you have advent calendars from where you are from? I have a Cadburys one this year!

I think there’s a good chance that Jon and Liz will disagree with that, Garfield.

During the Middle Ages, the weeks leading to Christmas were a time of fasting and prayer. Then there was a 12 day party starting December 25 and lasting into January.

It’s a balancing act for me right now – I’m expecting, so I need to eat enough to keep Junior happy, but if I do have too much rich holiday food, I get an even worse stomach ache from it than usual!

No-diet zone is restricted to a holiday season? Preposterous, that zone is year round for me.
