We don’t have pets of our own but do dog and cat sitting for others whever they need to leave thier pets behind. Most everyone drops off toys, food bowls, beds, etc. The most commen item is a string of bells that hang on the door knob that both cats and dogs have been taught to use when they want out. When they come back in from doing their business, treats! So yeah, training goes both ways.
A couple of winters ago, DIL slipped on the ice and broke her wrist, while on the mend she had to have her 12yr old son type in her info during her online shopping…..including her credit card info! After a few days, again while online shopping, DIL was about to read out the card number when he just called out each number as he typed it in! This kid is going places! Maybe not college, but places! XD
The last panel reminded me of when I retired, someone asked why I chose to retire early and my reply was, “Well, I looked around one day and saw all this chaos, dissension, and ill will and I thought to myself, my work here is done!”
It never fails, set the alarm and out the door we go then one of us gets that look on our face…..I forgot such and such, I think I have enough time to make a mad dash back inside before the alarm is in fact, armed!
I was singing “I’m a believer” by the Monkees when my wife asked me to stop because it was annoying her. At first I thought she was kidding……but then I saw her face!
