We haven’t seen Kyle in weeks.

There’s obviously something more going on that we don’t know, but will soon. Kyle didn’t want the truck killed, because he knows the secret.

And the truck doesn’t deserve to be killed, just for not selling ice cream.

This is more like the mascot arc than anything else.
