It’s not that Biden is old. There are many people in their nineties that are pretty much as mentally competent as they were in their younger days. Biden is not. Just view videos of him ten years ago and it’s evident that he has deteriorated greatly. In my opinion age is not an issue, mental acuity is. Take for example his latest appearance. Biden’s greeting of the South Korean president today was a disgrace. Biden had a frown on his face during most of the event. What a sourpuss. Plus he stumbled through his prepared speech and had a few of those confused “where am I.” senior moments.
I would think that the Trumpies would want to hold off on ridiculing President Biden on his age, considering that their orange messiah is only four years behind.
The MAGATS, that live in a glass house, should not throw stones. President Biden has always had to deal with stuttering. Their guy shows a lot of mental and physical decline. One can tell by listening to his speeches from a couple of years ago in comparison with ones made recently. The word salad he vocalizes is getting worse.
As Kracklin Rosie says, age isn’t the issue as much as mental acuity. My parents were still in full possession of their wits right up to 100 and 103. My Dad did have Aphasia at the end, which makes you say words that don’t make sense, but it is not the thinking that is impacted, just the speech centre. Mom could still play complex piano pieces at 102.
The dipped-in-Cheeto-dust guy is about 3.5 years younger and appears to be about one cheeseburger away from a stroke, but all of that is irrelevant. Reagan was president for his last two years while suffering from early onset dementia: Nancy and the rest of his administration carried on. Do you want people who believe in government running the show or people who want to overthrow the government running the show?
