(3) In spite of the fact that Bozo DID catch a fish in a fishingshoe [thanks, Gent], this strip reminds me of a film I saw many years ago. In it a young man observes an old man spending most of every day sitting on a pier with his fishing rod in hand, and a line in the water. Finally his curiosity gets the better of him and he approaches the old man saying, “Why is it that I see you here every day fishing, and yet you always go home empty handed?” The old man replied, “Son, eventually you’ll learn that there is much more to fishing than just catching a fish!”
