The sooner the Republican party kicks trump to the curb, the sooner it can get back to running good candidates and governing.

After Trump’s recent threatening comments about DeSantis, he definitely needs to go away. Never cared for his juvenile personality and it appears that will never change. Same for Biden’s two faced lies. They both need to go.

Trump’s candidates lost bigly. It does not bode well for the GOP. Not only will they lose in 2024, they’ll spend two years doing dumb things in the House and look like ineffective fools.

Oklahoma lost a lot of good candidates who know how to do the needed jobs for Republicans who work for themselves or not at all. (There are some republicans in the state who work, as best they can, for farmers and ranchers. Oil companies need no help. ) Educators who know how to educate, are not being allowed to do their jobs, as well as leading other teachers to do better and make a living at it. Teaching is an art.

The GOP had their chance in 2021 to get the orange albatross from around their neck, just enough votes to convict for impeachment and he could never menace the real republican party again. Now they own that omen, hope they like the taste. Especially ex speaker mitch.

Chip, don’t go down the path of Trump Derangement. That ‘red wave’ was always a best case scenario. What we got was a red ripple which I am more than happy with. The House will be back in Republican control and Nancy is out as Speaker and third in line for the Presidency. The Senate was always iffy but that’s still an open possibility and, looking at the numbers, I think it will go red. Reports have major wins at local government levels across the nation with liberal Dems being replaced in city councils and school boards. The Dems lost congressional seats in deep blue states such as NY. Beto and Abrams are now two time losers who collectively burned through about $300 million which pretty much ended their political ambitions. Florida once purple, has gone hard red and the Hispanic community has swung to the right. Nah, all things considered this is a net win for the Republicans. Also, Biden is in major trouble with the Dems, go look at their “DontRunJoe.com”.
