I got scam email from supposedly Chase saying my account had been compromised. I called Chase they said my account was fine. Seems like so much more of this stuff going on since Covid.
Sometimes I get “hi! This is clearly from your friend because you’re in her contact list! I’m in London|Lisbon|Lebanon and my purse was stolen and they got all my money and passport. Can you forward me some cash so I can buy a ticket home?”
I reply with “Wow! Did you forget I’m vacationing in That Same City? Where are you? I can come over and help!”
