I learned in high school, college and law school to always have notes and topic points in front of me at the podium when speaking. Anyone who doesn’t is either arrogant or a fool…at least that is what my debate coach said in high school.
Trumpers intended to attack Biden no matter how he presented his points. If he hadn’t had notes, they would have claimed that he was unprepared… because he was prepared, they’re upset that he was prepared…
I use notes! Anyone who wants to be a good speaker uses notes. Good grief, Henry. Is that all you’ve got? Biden did a great job. Of course you miss 1.5 hours of name-calling, rambling, and and egotistic ranting from the previous guy, right?!
When talking to the Parkland shooting survivors, trump had to write himself a note to remind himself to seem empathetic. Biden doesn’t need to do that.
You are kidding right? Previous presidents have all had the “ability” to speak off the cuff to the reporters. Including Bush and Obama. (Yes even Trump – although he usually did it with a good chance of putting his foot in his mouth) Joe is not capable of that. Not without having a brain-fart or just giving a wrong answer. No soft ball, pre-planned questions and he is toast.
Biden = Total Loser. If you are sharp (he isn’t) and know your material (he doesn’t) you don’t need “cheat sheets”. Remember he cheated in college (took credit for other peoples writing). Some people never grow up.

Having facts prepared is better than hearing someone ramble off whatever is on top of a deranged mind.

Here’s what you need to know says the New York Times:
Biden calls Republican efforts to limit voting ‘sick’ and ‘un-American’
U.S. troops to withdraw from Afghanistan within a year, Biden suggests.
Biden expects to run for re-election in 2024, and says he has ‘no idea’ whether there will be a Republican Party then.
President Biden rejects idea that more migrants are arriving at the border because he is a ‘nice guy.’
Responding to questions on gun control legislation, Biden makes clear it’s not his top priority.

Seems like an important distinction to me.

RW Meme of the week accessed by both Lester and Payne today and probably Varvel and Gorrell tomorrow (they read more slowly).

God forbid we should have a president who prepares, and deals in facts instead of pulling BS out of his butt.
BTW, where are all the conservative cartoons about T****’s ludicrous “the rioters were hugging and kissing the cops” farce?

Biden actually CAN read, Trump couldn’t. That is why he mentioned “Thigh-land” and “Yo Semite”, places he had probably never heard of.

Problem is that those cards we saw were absolute basic items that the POTUS should have committed to memory.
Another problem is the cheat sheet of reporters with photos. With a pre-selected group circled in red. All soft balls.
The PC was managed and scripted and it still went off the rails.
I give it 6-12 months before he resigns or is removed.
