   Great Soldiers, regardless of age, make great voters. Because they have skin in the game. They, WE made a choice and we swore to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

   America’s military men and women vote EVERY time they put on their uniform. Wisely, responsibly and with great dedication. Regardless of their age. They’ve made mature decisions, they are well qualified voters.

   How many days were you in the military? Did you manage to finish basic? Because you clearly have ZERO idea what it takes to be a Soldier. The maturity, the responsibility, the intelligence necessary to make SOUND battle field decisions.

   AND NO, they are NOT straw men. You are talking about revoking the right to vote. I see where you are starting. I want to know how far you are going to go.

   Because it sounds to me like you’re working on limiting the vote to those Christians you were talking about. Since you believe that they’re the only ones with the proper moral strength of character to make the best decisions.

   The law used to allow slavery as well. Are you going to defend that next?

   If he’s responsible enough to go into battle he’s responsible enough to vote.

   You don’t think that if we’re going to send a young man into battle we should not allow him the privilege to vote?

   It is ASTOUNDING that you are honestly trying to defend the idea that we take the vote away from our 18 year olds serving in the military. I truly am stunned by your lack of understanding.

   How about women? Should we abolish the 19th Amendment as well, while you’re at it?

   What about the 14th? Birthright citizenship? Should that go away as well?

   True enough. But Germany, Japan, Italy, they were all countries, nations with governments. HAMAS is not. They are a political movement. They need to be stopped in court, not in the street with a gun.

   All those countries you listed? After the war the US basically created an entirely new branch of the military we called the Constabulary. It was especially trained to act as police and halt resistance to occupation. It is what SHOULD have done in Afghanistan, and why we failed.

   The military is used to kill people. Police are used to pacify them.

   Israel is doing it wrong.

    On the other hand very few places start anyone out at minimum wage. People basically refuse to work for it. And businesses use this as a reason not to raise it, claiming that it is necessary.
