seriously, what’s so bullying about someone playing by themselves?

Speaking as something of a loner, I experienced that if you didn’t practice  being social in K through about 5 or 6, then you’re at a real disadvantage for being social right through college. I even had good advice from my mother that I should hang out with the other kids a bit more. But eh. B-O-R-I-N-G. Probably worked out a little better for me than it will for some putatively real Phoebe: Gals are expected to do better at the social skills.

I’m much the same way, Phoebe—always been someone perfectly capable of entertaining myself, and didn’t necessarily need other people around to do it with.

But having the added company of friends is still nice from time to time. :)

Interesting figure Phoebe is playing with: sort of an “alien princess” of power.

On a side note, I wish there were more female action figures. Even now, it’s mostly male action figures and female fashion dolls.

Is this the start of a line of “Young Phoebe” merchandise?

Not everyone adheres to the “social animal” theory; it can be nice to be a “loner”…

Phoebe does have introvert tendencies.

I was happiest playing by myself.

I know that feeling. Teachers were concerned because I never played with the other kids. I had friends, I just liked playing by myself.
