    I was wondering what the lawyers are going to say. One of them says his client was exercising his first amendment rights. With the courts packed with Trump appointees, I think that may work. It is sad to see this great country disintegrate.

    Now that Twitter has finally done the right thing (about 3.5 years too late), Trump is essentially under house arrest.

    Nobody has seen him since his grinning orange face sent the fascist mob off to storm the Capitol. He told them that he would march with them. Instead he retreated via limousine to enjoy watching the show while cramming Big Mac after Big Mac down his gullet. Promises made. Promises kept. Let the “little people” do your dirty work for you.

    I wonder if he will emerge from his bunker to address a contingent of the “Trump Youth” to urge them on to fight to the death to preserve his presidency/

    MAGA – Did Trump really Make America Great Again?

    His supporters say that he has done “Great Things” for America, but have never enumerated even one thing.

    I guess he did make America Great on the international arena. Russia, Iran, China and North Korea think that the America he has created for them is Great.

    Waving a flag does not make one a patriot. Patriotism isn’t a flashy show or display, it is a spirit of the heart. It is not love of country; it is love of the country’s people.

    “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” These unalienable rights are not finite in their scope. These rights are limitless; they are a bottomless well that will never run dry.

    It is a fallacy to believe that the only way to preserve these rights for yourself is to prevent others who are not like you from stealing them from you. Granting power to an authority figure to preserve your rights while denying them to others, is granting power to these dictators to take these rights from you.

    Pledging Allegiance to the flag, is not pledging allegiance to the country. It is pledging allegiance to the Republic and the document that created it: The Constitution. The shareholders of the Republic are stated in the first three words of this sacred document: written larger and in bolder script than any other words: “We the people.”

    Only when “all men” of “we the people” have these rights, will we have one nation, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

    Sometimes all that it takes for a good nation to fall to dictatorship is not complicit agreement but complacent silence. It does not matter if that silence is from fear caused by intimidation because once authoritarians win then the fear will truly be far greater.

    Stay vigilant, people, and express your disapproval of those actions, especially to those who are uncertain.

    The Nazis got into power eight years after their original failed coup by using and then turning on the German conservatives and bringing down the German legislature.

    There were excellent reasons why the U.S. was pretty much all anti-fa (anti-fascist) in the 1930s and 1940s while we fought the fascist monarchists of the Axis Powers.

    To a friend who is an Air Force veteran:

    Please, allow me to express my sympathies. Never would I have expected a member of the Air Force to abandon her vow to the Constitution and choose treasonous insurgence over the honor that has historically been the pride of the Air Force. I am sure it is especially painful for you, very possibly more so than it is for just anyone who considers honor and respect for the Constitution that makes our form of government, a democratic republic, possible. I am ashamed that this seditious action happened in our nation, and I send sympathy to you for the dishonor she created for the Air Force. The constructive and lawful actions of others in the military will hopefully soon show our nation and the world that such destructive and treasonous individuals are an aberration. So, please, hold your head high and know that while you openly support our Constitution people will realize that although a small violent minority can do great damage, they are not representative.

    So, the horned Qanoner who is well known from Trump rallies hid his identity behind STACKED ALIASES. Q Shaman who identified himself as an Arizonan named Jake Angelini in news interviews in the past is actually Jacob Anthony Chansley of Arizona. He has just been arrested. They need to be charged with things like insurgency, coup, cop killing or accessory to cop killing for those who promoted the attack on the Capitol and assisted the attack on the Capitol, destruction of public buildings and public property, even espionage since they moved private information into seditionist organizations.

    I would be perfectly happy if trump were to be arrested on one or more felony charges, and booked into jail. Of course he wouldn’t see the inside of a cell but would be released on recognizance. At least he would have an arrest record.

    Then, I would be even happier were he to be convicted on at least one felony count, and sentenced to one day, just one day, in prison. Then, he would have a felony conviction to add to his resume.

    (Technically, no one is sentenced to one day in prison, so make it one year, and suspend all but one day. Doesn’t matter to me, I just want to see the loser branded accordingly)

    We were told that the long-promised evidence of the rampant voter fraud would be provided to on on January 6th. Where is it Trump? Cruz? Hawley?

    Trump told a lie. A majority of the GOP elected officials repeated it and now 5 people have been killed because of it. When words lead to death, they are not protected by the First Amendment or any double-talk from politicians stating that they are just doing what their constituents are telling them in response to the lies they told to them.

    Trump is simply delusional. Cruz and Hawley saw repeating Trump’s lies and giving fake hope to the mob as a short cut to a presidential run in 2024. Well, there are at least 4 people who won’t be voting for them since dead people are not allowed to vote.

    But 2024 is a long way off. The bodies will be cold and buried and forgotten by then. Texans and Missourians will forget and believe the lies again.
