I only fairly recently realized that most US citizens live where they cannot just step outside and take a walk or a bike ride. The last time I actually lived  in a city was in 1969, though I do visit one from time to time.

Don’t worry about the attack; it’s a hoax. Don’t let it dominate your life. The war will go away on its own – probably in April when the weather gets warmer.

If you study quantum mechanics you learn that nothing is certain; everything is a probability.

Getting infected and possibly dying or being left disabled by Covid-19 is problematic – literally. It’s all about “playing the odds” and trying to stack them in your favor.

There are some factors over which you do not have control: your genetics, your age, your gender, your current state of health (staying in shape before the pandemic pays off), whether you can work from home, how bad the pandemic is where you live …

Then there are factors that you can control: social distancing, washing your hands, wearing a mask and more importantly avoiding people who don’t wear masks. All of these greatly stack the odds in your favor.

Trump advises us and sets the example for us to ignore those things over which we do have control. That’s like playing craps with the dice loaded against you. Only when you crap out, you die. 210,000 people died trying to beat the odds.

No Covid relief until Trump wins the election. Typical Trump extortion. GOP Senate is quiet.

I hope the small businesses that are still scraping by can afford their “Out of Business” signs. Expect to see an explosion of homeless after the evictions. Staving children? Fake news. Trump MUST have his way at all costs. Nothing else and nobody else matters.

Ironically, his claim to fame, the stock market – which he seems to think measures the economic well-being of the average person – took a dive because of his spiteful, vengeful policy.

Every time the president talks about covid, I just assume that the opposite is true.

We are seeing the effect of drugs on a teetotaler. It’s a good thing (or not) that the windows on the second floor don’t open.. pretty sure trump thinks he can fly.

The president is merely channeling his inner George Orwell; IGNORANCE is strength. And he’s banking on the “strength” of his base.

Trump thinks second debate is a “waste of time.”

Yes, his supporters will come back and say, “That’ not what he said. He said a virtual debate is a waste of time.” It still boils down to the same thing: he thinks it’s a waste of time. The public doesn’t need to know the differences between him and Biden. We don’t want to panic them.

The whole world has figured out how to work with on line meetings but, the reeelly smart, like stable genius can’t figure it out.

The real reason he won’t debate on line is that online software has the capability to mute unruly and uncivilized participants or even eject them. Also you and your family can’t infect people online by not wearing masks regardless of what the “rules” say. After all, rules are for losers.

In SW PA I have been driving around various areas and seeing more and more Biden signs cropping up. I have to have some hope.

I was wrong. According to a prediction I made several weeks ago. Trump would direct Barr to arrest his political enemies after he declared martial law on Nov 4th. He’s not waiting that long.

Barr is too busy now investigating the “rampant” voter fraud in this election. According to the GOP, we can’t let the American people have confidence in the election process. We don’t want to panic them.
